Use the Control or Command key
Last week, Google made an update to Maps™ that caused a change to the map zoom in Matrix when using a mouse scroll wheel. You’ll now need to hold down the Control key or Command key (on Mac) while you use the scroll wheel to zoom. When you attempt to use the scroll wheel without holding down the Control or Command Key, you’ll see something like this message:
NOTE: The plus sign in the screenshot above simply represents the word ‘and.’ You DO NOT need to hold down the plus sign button on your keyboard.
This new behavior ensures the map zoom level is not changed accidentally when using the mouse scroll wheel to move up and down the page. CoreLogic® plans to use interactive maps in a variety of Matrix displays in the future, so this change is a welcome improvement.
