Searching Homes in REcolorado Matrix
As seen in the latest housing market statistics, higher levels of inventory mean your buyers have more choices. No matter how specific your buyer’s wish list may be, you can create a search form that matches their criteria to a T. You only have to know where to look!
When you perform a general search in REcolorado Matrix, you’ll see a standard set of fields. This includes options like status, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and square footage. But what if you want to know if it has a master suite? A 3-car garage? Open floorplan?
Sure, you could sort through each listing one by one, look at the photos, and comb through the listing details to create a customized cart for your buyer. But there’s an easier way.

Reference Listing Input Forms
Not sure where to find something? Start with the Listing Input Forms available through the REcolorado Resource Center. These forms are your cheat sheet for knowing exactly which field contains the information you need.
Here’s the secret: search and listing input are two sides of the same coin! Once you learn this trick, it’s simple to both find your client their dream home AND get your listing found by the right buyers.
For example, your buyer may be concerned about stairs and only want to consider homes with the master bedroom and laundry room on the main floor. Include those details in your search! Conversely, when you’re entering a new listing, you will specify the location of bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry rooms during listing input.
What if your buyer drives an electric car? You can set up a search for homes with an electric vehicle charging station. If you’re selling a home with one, make sure you complete that field during listing input. That way your listing will show up in search results for buyers looking for that feature.
