The rental market in the Denver metro area is bouncing back from 2020 levels and exceeding the 2019 peak, leaving a competitive landlord’s market.
Inventory levels for single-family homes are tight. Many investors are choosing to sell, rather than rent, and capitalize on a strong seller’s market. Homes in the rental market are leasing quickly, spending a median of only 19 days in the MLS. Townhomes and single-family homes consistently lease the quickest and for the highest rental rates.
