In December, REcolorado made a multi-million dollar offer to purchase IRES. Since then, REcolorado has received only one communication from IRES on December 27, requesting more time to consider the offer. As we await a formal response from IRES, we thought this would be a great time to provide you additional information about the offer, as well as address a few questions we’ve received.
REcolorado strongly believes bringing agents in Denver and Northern Colorado together in a collaborative manner is in the best interest of brokers and agents, which is why we made an offer that includes:
— A generous multi-million-dollar payment, which can be shared among IRES’s owners.
— Representation on the REcolorado Board of Directors and policy committees, including the Rules and Regulations committee.

–A commitment to maintaining technology and staff to serve subscribers locally.
REcolorado Matrix is Customized to the Local Market
Matrix is the MLS system that is used by 18 of the top 25 MLSs in the country. Why? Because it offers a user-friendly and CUSTOMIZABLE interface. REcolorado has a product team that works continuously to customize Matrix, based on feedback from subscribers. Last year alone, REcolorado made 100 enhancements to Matrix to ensure it meets the specific needs of Colorado brokers. Additionally, we’ve converted REALTORS® of Central Colorado (ROCC) to Matrix, which included adding and updating nearly 40 fields in less than a month and providing two new integrations specifically for ROCC members.
REcolorado Provides Subscribers Access to Historic Data
REcolorado subscribers have access to nearly 10 years of historic data in Matrix. This data is available for reporting, analyzing trends, and more.
Non-REALTORS Can Join REcolorado
REcolorado has approximately 20,000 members, both REALTOR® and non-REALTOR.
