REcolorado and IRES Sign Data Exchange and Integration Agreement

We are pleased to announce REcolorado and IRES have signed a data exchange agreement. The partnership will integrate the data from both MLS organizations into the respective MLS systems, as well as products and offerings, including IDX data feeds, public-facing websites, and mobile apps, bringing you access to the full set of listing data from both MLS organizations.

“One of REcolorado’s key goals is to bring real estate professionals seamless access to a deep and broad set of data to serve their clients,” said Alan Smith, chairman of the board for REcolorado. “This partnership is one of the ways REcolorado is working to erase the artificial boundaries that have limited the full set of listing data you need to not only serve your clients, but be the expert advisor they look to for buying, selling, and renting properties.”

We expect the data to be available in both MLS systems later this year.

“Converting our core REcoloado Matrix listing database to conform to the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) Data Dictionary was critical to facilitating this partnership, said Staci Wood, vice president, and chief product officer for REcolorado. “It makes the exchange of data, as well as the integration of data into new products and services for our subscribers more efficient while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of data integrity.”

IRES offers a RESO Data Dictionary compliant feed that will be used for the exchange of Data. REcolorado is now focused on integrating IRES listings into REcolorado Matrix and the REcolorado App. As we achieve milestones, we’ll provide updates. In the meantime, here are answers to a few questions:

When will the data exchange between REcolorado and IRES begin?

The two MLS organizations will immediately begin work needed to display integrated data. This work involves mapping fields to ensure data from one MLS displays in the appropriate field from the other MLS. We will keep you updated and provide a timeframe as soon as we can. We expect the data to be available in both MLS systems later this year.

What data will be included in the exchange and integration?

Listing data from REcolorado and IRES subscribers is included in the data exchange and integration partnership, to include:

  • Residential listings for single-family residence, townhome, condo, multifamily, and parcels of land
  • Listings in Active, Coming Soon, Pending, and Closed statuses.
  • Photos, images, virtual tours, written descriptions, open house information, and pricing information included on the listing.
  • Closed listings and listings that have expired within the last three (3) years.

In which REcolorado Products will I be able to see IRES listing data?

You will be able to view listing data in REcolorado Matrix and the REcolorado App, as well as in the integrated products REcolorado offers, including Listing Metrics. Additionally, IRES listings will be included in IDX data feeds.
