Last week, REcolorado was in Steamboat Springs to continue offering training for brokers transitioning to Matrix. We were thrilled to hear more and more REALTORS® are discovering the possibilities of Matrix as they learn the ins and outs of the system. Here are answers to a few of the most popular questions.

Q: How do I send a spreadsheet to my clients?

A: One of the many benefits of Matrix is that there are multiple ways to send information to your clients. The best way is through the Client Portal, which is easy to use and interactive. Clients can run searches, mark properties as ‘favorites,’ and even write notes.

Another way to communicate with your client is by sending single line property displays. (Your branding is included at the top!) Remember, you can have as many custom single lines as you need and you can pick and choose what you want when you’re ready to print. Your custom single line displays will have ‘my:’ at the beginning. We recommend using the Client Portal and single line property displays to communicate with your clients, but if you’d like to send a spreadsheet, you can Export Your Results. If you do this, be sure to remove any “for broker eyes only” fields before sending it to your client.

Q: How do I start a CMA?

A: First, find your comparable properties. Search for similar sold, active or under contract properties in Matrix. Once you have your results and comparable properties selected, the CMA button will light up in the button bar at the bottom.

Pro Tip: Enter values as a range. This works in many fields, including square feet, bed, bath, and price.

Q: Can I pull year-end stats from Matrix?

A: Yes! REcolorado provides tools you can use to showcase your local market expertise to your clients and potential clients. You can also generate personal stats.

Matrix

To pull stats from Matrix, hover your mouse over the Stats tab and choose the category that works best for you. Then, you can choose from a list of system presets, or customize your settings. Once you’ve selected the fields (price, location, property type, etc.) you want to display, simply click the blue ‘Generate’ button.

Pro Tip: Switch between chart and data by using the tabs in the upper right-hand corner.

Personal Stats

As for personal stats, Productivity Reports are a great tool if you’re looking to set new goals for yourself this year, especially because you can easily pull reports on the previous year’s inventory and production. Productivity Reports are also nice to have handy when you’re filling out applications for production awards. Access Productivity Reports through the Stats tab in Matrix. And, we’re always working to enhance our offerings. You’ll soon have the option to compare yourself only to Steamboat Springs REALTORS®, in addition to all REcolorado subscribers.
