We’ve upgraded to a new version of Matrix! When you log in to access the MLS, a standard terms and conditions box will appear, which is required because of the addition of Google Maps and other exciting new technology. Please read through this section and accept the terms to access the new version of the MLS.
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll notice your system layout hasn’t changed. But, you have gained some great enhancements, including new ways to brand your business, and an opportunity to be notified when your clients make changes in their Client Portal. Additionally, your clients now have a beautiful and easy-to-use Client Portal.
Check out the quick introduction video below featuring Staci Wood of the REcolorado product department, and then visit the REcolorado Learning Center to access additional training resources and sign up for a comprehensive training webinar.
Your clients have gained a beautiful new Client Portal. We’re talking a new look, a new map, added functionality, and an overall more user-friendly interface. Watch this video for an in-depth look. If you haven’t yet communicated with your clients about this change, you should! We’ve made it easy. Use this template: Say Hello to Your All New Client Portal.
We’ve switched from Bing Maps to Google Maps. The map you access, the map your clients access in their Client Portal, and the IDX frame map all have a fresh look with added functionality giving you and your clients an all-around more user-friendly experience.
You can choose to be notified by text or email when your clients make changes in their portal. This means if they mark a listing as a favorite/possibility/discard, or send you notes, you’ll promptly know. Visit the REcolorado Learning Center or the Matrix Help tab for a how-to guide.
Matrix headers are now large and in charge—1600 pixels wide by 120 pixels tall to be exact. Plus, there are tons of new options available. If you uploaded a custom header in the previous version of Matrix, you’ll want to resize the original file and reupload it.
The switch from Bing Maps to Google Maps will give the IDX frame a fresh look. Additionally, the frame will now automatically display correctly on mobile devices, and monitors of any size. For this to occur, you’ll need to pull an updated embed code and paste it on the back end of your website. Instructions are available on the REcolorado Professionals Blog.
If you have questions or need more information, you can always contact Customer Care. Or, if you’d like a demo of the new features, have your managing broker contact their account manager.
