According to REcolorado Market Statistics February 2018, homes sales for the Greater Denver Metro area remained strong. There were 3,221 homes sold, unchanged from last year, but up 7 percent from January. Additionally, February saw a 13 percent lift in the number of homes going under contract as compared to January. This strong demand kept inventory levels in check despite the increase in new listings that were brought to the market. Demand also drove up home values, pushing the price of a single-family detached home rose above the half-million-dollar mark for the first time—$502,157.
