Listing Metrics, which is included with your REcolorado subscription at no extra cost, can tell you the number of views, shares, saves, and inquiries your listing is receiving from the MLS, and from REcolorado.com. It also includes Homesnap, IDX sites, and syndication sites like Nextdoor, Zillow, and Homes.com. You can use this information to make informed updates to your listing. For example, you could make changes to remarks or the listing photos to better highlight some of the home’s features, and then track the results through Listing Metrics. You can also produce a weekly Seller’s Report for your client. This helps them stay in the loop on how well you’re marketing their listing.
Getting started with Listing Metrics is easy. Simply follow these three steps:
Access Listing Metrics Training
First, it’s important to thoroughly understand why Listing Metrics is a valuable tool and how you can use it to better serve your clients. Click here to watch a short, introductory tutorial and access related how-to documents. Additionally, you can view the Listing Metrics training webinar on demand.
Read Through the Tooltips
Take advantage of the tooltips in the upper right-hand corner of the graphs, and on the Seller’s Report. Click the information icon to view a description of the data displayed on each graph and to help you set up a Seller’s Report.
Test Out a Seller’s Report
Before you send a Seller’s Report to your client, play around with the settings so you know all the available options, and so you can see what the finished product will look like. It’s important to be able to explain each section to your client so they understand the information you’re giving them. You can customize your Seller’s Report by picking and choosing the topics you want to include for your client. If you don’t want to include a category, simply uncheck it.
