COVE is an innovative think tank that consists of CEOs from the 20 leading MLSs in the nation, including Kirby Slunaker of REcolorado. Slunaker spoke at this year’s conference on a panel discussion titled Technology: How Can MLSs Keep Up? and had information to share regarding REcolorado’s approach to innovation.
REcolorado’s Pathways to Innovation Strategy
We listen closely to our subscribers to understand their needs in the marketplace; we have a rigorous process for evaluating new products; we form partnerships with vendors who build high-quality, innovative products, we build our own products when it makes sense for our business and our subscribers.
In addition to providing a powerful MLS system that works for real estate professionals across Colorado, REcolorado is committed to providing cutting-edge technology tools. Tools that its subscribers—with a bit of training—can easily learn to adopt, so that they can better serve their current clients and continue to gain new clients in an industry that seems to be slowly slipping away from the traditional buying and selling model.
Implementing the Strategy
Slunaker’s main goal at this year’s conference was to underscore REcolorado’s strategy of continuous evaluation of the newest industry products to hit the market. Implementation of this strategy recently brought REcolorado subscribers ArriveHome, the first mobile app that immediately connects a homebuyer with a nearby and available agent for an instant home showing. It also brought REcolorado subscribers Remine, a business tool that has quickly been adopted by many of the top MLSs in the country. Remine provides brokers with more content, data, and actionable intelligence than anywhere else, and helps brokers keep themselves at the center of the real estate transaction. In many cases, these partnerships aren’t just partnerships, but exclusive partnerships in Colorado, meaning REcolorado subscribers are the only Colorado real estate professionals who have access to the technology.
REcolorado works hard to position itself as a trusted business partner to real estate professionals in Colorado, offering affordable access to a host of tools and resources, including tool training, industry education, and a 6-day-a-week help desk, that help professionals successfully run their businesses. And real estate professionals in Colorado can expect REcolorado to continue to hold up its end the business arrangement by bringing the latest and greatest industry offerings to the table.
