How Are Your Listings Syndicated?

Have you ever seen one of your listings displayed on a website and thought, “How did that get there?” REcolorado believes you should be able to answer this question for each and every one of your listings, which is why we will soon be launching the REcolorado Syndication Program.

In anticipation of the launch of the program, take a moment to learn how your listings are syndicated.

Syndication Platform

A popular way to syndicate listings is through a syndication platform like ListHub or Point2. With this syndication method, brokers select the publisher channels where they want their listings displayed on the syndication channel’s dashboard. The selected publisher may then re-syndicate or power other sites.

Individual Entry

You may have a contract with a publisher to send your listings directly to a publisher. Using this syndication method, your listing(s) are sent directly to the publisher. The publisher uses and displays your listings according to the contract you have with them.

Office/Broker/Franchisor Agreement

Your brokerage or franchise may have an agreement with a vendor or publisher that authorizes your listings to be displayed on publisher websites. Vendors or publishers can range from virtual tour companies to national websites like Zillow. Ask your brokerage or franchise where your listings are being sent.

REcolorado Syndication Program

When it is launched, the REcolorado Syndication Program will give you the ability to select where each of your listings are displayed upon input in Matrix. This will give brokers the ability to display their listings according to the marketing plan that has been developed for that particular listing. The REcolorado Syndication Program will also give brokers the choice to display their listings on IDX sites.
