Homesnap has partnered with navigation app Waze to provide agents with a new marketing tool to reach home buyers through geo-targeted ads. Agents can now target potential buyers driving near their clients’ listings with ads featuring the homes for sale. This is the first partnership of its kind. Waze is the world’s largest community-based navigation app, with more than 90 million active global users. On average, Waze users spend more than seven hours per month using the app.
Agents who purchase Waze Ads by Homesnap through the Homesnap platform promote their listings in two ways:
- map pins featuring the listing’s photo, which appear when people navigate near the listing and expand to provide more information about the listing
- sponsored search results, which appear when drivers search for a related or nearby address
In both cases, drivers can save the listing and contact the listing agent. Brokers and teams can also showcase their logos through branded pins and digital billboards that take over the driver’s screen when stopped.
