For the last few months, we’ve been hard at work on our ‘Go RESO’ project. This exciting project will bring many important benefits to you, as well as the entire real estate industry.
Right now, most of the work right now is happening behind the scenes. Early next year, you’ll see the benefits when we launch a new, enhanced version of REcolorado Matrix.
Here’s what that means for you.
Stay ahead of the Curve
As a reminder, ‘Go RESO’ will bring REcolorado Matrix in line with Real Estate Standards Organization’s (RESO) Data Dictionary, making it “speak” the same language as other MLSs and real estate technology providers using the same dictionary.
Many big tech companies have already adopted RESO Data Dictionary, so you’ll be able to access innovative new tools from REcolorado and your brokerage ahead of others who are not using the Data Dictionary.
The Go RESO project is also giving us a chance to make some great enhancements to REcolorado Matrix, which will launch in early 2020.
As one of the first MLSs in the country to update our MLS system to match the Data Dictionary, REcolorado is ahead of the curve.
Global Language with a Local Accent
While the Data Dictionary provides a consistent language for real estate technology, it still allows room for local customizations. That’s where you come in!
REcolorado has been getting input from you – local brokers from throughout the state –to guide this entire process. Over the last few months, we’ve held various feedback groups to get your advice on everything from listing input to search, residential to commercial, urban to rural. We’re using your input to ensure REcolorado Matrix is an MLS built for and by you!
REcolorado is currently reaching out to vendors and broker participants so they can start converting their data feeds. You may receive additional information from your IDX provider in the coming weeks.
More information about the new version of Matrix will be available in the coming months, so stay tuned! As you prepare for the holiday season, be ready to sign up for training later this year to see a sneak peek of the new Matrix and to get a head start learning the Data Dictionary.
