We live in an image-driven society. If there isn’t a quality graphic (or several) associated with your content, count on it getting overlooked. Real estate listings are no exception, so let’s embrace it!
When you list a client’s home, your end goal is to generate offers. And while one good offer is nice and may get the job done, you hope to present your client with several really solid offers. Set yourself up for success; include at least 10 to 15 quality listing photos. (Read this article for background on that number range.)
Not every listing is created equal, and you can only do so much with what you’re given, but one thing is for sure: potential buyers quickly scroll past naked and nearly-naked listings. (Just a friendly heads-up, REcolorado Rules and Regulations require listings to have at least one photo.) Quality listing photos increase your odds of multiple offers.
A professional photographer isn’t always necessary, and you don’t need to go out and purchase high-end equipment, but you should read up on the recommended megapixels your camera should possess.
